Veterinarian
Dr. Zach Stevenson, the Veterinarian of Coupland Veterinary Hospital, brings his passion for animals and extensive expertise to the clinic. With a lifelong connection to the cattle industry, he has always possessed an innate love for animals, both large and small, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Stevenson’s journey into the world of veterinary medicine began at Eastern Oklahoma State Junior College, where he earned a full ride scholarship for meat judging. During his time there, he showcased his exceptional skills and dedication, winning the National Champion Meats Judger title. This early success solidified his commitment to the field.
After completing his junior college program, Dr. Stevenson pursued higher education at Oklahoma State University. He embarked on a remarkable academic journey, obtaining both a Bachelor’s degree and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. His dedication to his studies and passion for animal welfare shone brightly during his time at Oklahoma State University, where he graduated in 2003.
Dr. Stevenson’s favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is the ability to make a positive difference in the lives of animals and their owners. Whether it’s providing critical care to ailing pets or supporting the health of livestock in the community, he finds great pleasure in helping those in need. His compassionate approach and commitment to the well-being of animals have made him a respected figure among his peers and beloved by his clients.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Stevenson cherishes his time with his son, creating lasting memories together. He also has a loyal companion in his Blue Heeler named Minnie. Dr. Stevenson’s interests extend beyond the veterinary world, as he’s an avid American Quarter Horse racing enthusiast and enjoys relaxing moments spent fishing. Dr. Zach Stevenson’s dedication to his profession, coupled with his love for animals and the community, has made him an integral part of the Coupland Veterinary Hospital team. His journey from the cattle industry to becoming a highly regarded veterinarian is a testament to his unwavering commitment to animal care and welfare.
